FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

The things homeowners ask me most — before I've even pulled into the driveway.

Working with Travis

Yes — Red Seal journeyman, licensed in Saskatchewan, with full liability insurance and WCB coverage. Happy to show the paperwork before any work starts.

No. Quotes are free and firm — the number I give you is the number you pay, barring changes you ask for in writing.

Moose Jaw and roughly an hour out: Caron, Caronport, Mortlach, Tuxford, Buffalo Pound and the surrounding RMs. Outside that, ask and I'll tell you straight.

Always. Moose Jaw Electric is a one-electrician shop on purpose. You won't get a salesperson on the phone and a stranger in the van.

Electrical & safety

Working isn't the same as safe or adequate. If you're adding a hot tub, an EV charger, or finishing a basement, a 100-amp fuse panel usually can't keep up. I'll tell you honestly whether yours needs it.

It can be, at the connections, where it loosens and overheats. It's not an automatic teardown — often it's remediated with the right connectors. An inspection tells us which camp you're in.

Often yes, sometimes only after a panel upgrade or a load calculation. I do the math before quoting, so you're not surprised halfway through.

For quotes, usually within a few days. For genuine safety issues — a burning smell, scorched outlets, repeated tripping — call me and I'll prioritize you.
