Why "Keep An Eye On It" Fails

It's not that you ignored it. You were told to.

Breakers only trip on overloads — they do nothing about loose connections, aluminum wiring, or a corroded panel bus quietly overheating. So "the breakers are fine" tells you almost nothing about the risks that matter.

A quick look at the panel cover doesn't help either — the aging happens inside: at the terminals, the grounding, the splices buried in the walls from decades of "good enough" fixes.
